About Us
Two decades in the cockpit. One mission on the ground.
Global Aviation Consulting was built by pilots, for pilots. We know what it takes to find the right aircraft because we've done it ourselves — hundreds of times.
Our story
Founded by pilots who got tired of bad advice.
Global Aviation Consulting was founded in 2008 by John Charalambous, a commercial-rated pilot with thousands of hours as a Flight Instructor and Designated Flight Examiner. In addition to flight instruction, John is an Aviation College Professor and owner of various businesses in the United States. After watching too many buyers get burned by overpriced aircraft, undisclosed damage history, and conflicted brokers, he built the firm he wished had existed when he was buying his first plane.
Today, our consultants has collectively guided numerous aircraft transactions, helped hundreds of aspiring pilots choose the right flight school, and worked with school owners across the country to improve profitability and earn FAA Part 141 certification. We work exclusively on the client's side — whether that's a buyer, a seller, a student, or a school owner. That independence is the foundation of everything we do.
We're based in the US and work with clients nationwide. Whether you live in Europe, Asia or the United States, we have consultants ready to guide you. If you're serious about finding the right aircraft at the right price, we're the team you want in your corner.
What we stand for
Independence
We never represent sellers. Our only obligation is to you — the buyer. No dual agency, no hidden referral fees.
Transparency
We tell you what we find, including the things you might not want to hear. An honest assessment before closing beats a surprise after.
Expertise
Our consultants hold commercial and instrument ratings. We've flown the aircraft we advise on. That experience is not optional — it's the job.
